OSHAS 18000 Occupational Health & Safety Consulting & Certification
The Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS 18001) Specification has been developed in response to customer demand for a recognizable occupational health and safety management system standard against which their management systems can be assessed and certified. It is published by the British Standards Institution.
There are sound financial reasons for reducing work related accidents and ill- health, as well as ethical and regulatory reasons. An organization should manage his activities in such a way as to anticipate and prevent circumstances that may result in occupational injury or ill- health.
